Getting Prepared for the Trip: What to Bring on your Fishing Charter
You’re going fishing – so be smart about the conditions you will endure.
Make sure to cover up! Long sleeve shirts, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, and even swimmers. The goal is to stay comfortable and hydrated aboard our boat.
Plan to be in the sun all day and stay in touch with us, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! It is a must to contact us THE DAY BEFORE YOUR TRIP to check that the weather is suitable and you know where, and what time to be at the boat.
We recommend that you book your trip a day early in your holiday/stay/window, so that we can reschedule in case of unsafe weather, (i.e. strong wind or and high seas) we don’t reschedule if rain is forecast or if it is raining, there is often less rain at sea than on the land and cloud cover improves the catch rate on many species.
Although rain doesn’t stop us from fishing, it can be uncomfortable if you’re not prepared! Bring a rain coat.
